During the voyage the crew arranges small activities connected to Norwegian coastal traditions. Some are included in the voyage, while others can be booked on board. Activities vary depending on the route, season, and daily schedule. Information about upcoming activities is shared onboard.
Tastings and courses you can book onboard
These activities can be booked onboard and have a participation fee*. Availability varies depending on where you are sailing.
Aquavit tasting
Taste different styles of Norwegian aquavit and learn about the herbs and spices used to make it. The session also introduces the history of aquavit and its place in Norwegian food traditions.

Prepare your own gravlax using dill, salt, sugar, and juniper berries. Choose between aquavit or gin to flavour the fish!

Stockfish – how Norwegians eat it
Taste traditional stockfish and learn how cod is dried in the Arctic climate along the northern Norwegian coast. You’ll also see how stockfish is traditionally prepared and eaten in Norwegian coastal cuisine.
