This is a bus tour from Svolvær to Stamsund, with a total driving time of approximately 80 minutes. Along the way, we visit Henningsvær.

From Svolvær, we follow the beautiful coastal road towards Henningsvær, and on the way we drive past Kabelvåg and the distinctive Lofoten Cathedral, also known as Vågan Church. The yellow wooden church is the largest church in Northern Norway and one of the largest wooden buildings in the country.

Henningsvær is an idyllic fishing village spread across several small islands and has around 500 inhabitants today. The houses are closely packed together – and between them you will even find a football pitch, famous from countless drone photographs. The village is known both for its fishing heritage and its creative atmosphere, but as the visit takes place late in the evening, many shops and cafés will be closed, and the atmosphere in the village is therefore quieter than during the day.

At the beginning and end of the season, it will be dark towards the end of the tour.

In Henningsvær, you will have approximately one hour of free time. This gives you the opportunity to stroll through the narrow streets, experience the unique atmosphere, and enjoy the surroundings at your own pace.

After the visit to Henningsvær, the journey continues through the beautiful Lofoten landscape to Stamsund. The return journey takes approximately one hour before you rejoin the ship – with new impressions and experiences from authentic Lofoten.

Tip: Remember to dress according to the weather, as temperatures can be chilly in the evening – especially by the sea.
