About the excursion
Departure from the quay, where you will be provided with a flotation suit, life jacket, gloves and goggles. Dress in layers and wear sturdy, closed shoes. Remember to bring a camera or binoculars. Minimum age is six years. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This excursion is not suitable for guests with back injuries or significant back problems.

Winter at sea in the Arctic is a different kind of experience. Join us on a RIB tour along Bodø’s Arctic coastline and experience the clarity and power of the north.
Travelling in an open RIB boat, we get close to the landscape and the sea. The crisp winter air, the light across the water and the wide coastal scenery create a calm and memorable atmosphere.
Bodø is home to the world’s largest population of white-tailed eagles. There is a good chance of seeing these impressive birds in their natural surroundings, and with a bit of luck, you may spot one up close.
The tour also takes us past sheltered bays with light coral beaches and along the coastal landscape around Bodø. Along the way, there are excellent opportunities for photography and to learn more about the region’s geology.
