Join us on a ride aboard the world's northernmost tramway. The Lian tram has been in service since 1924, and the tram you travel on dates back to the 1950s. In the past, it carried residents from the industrial city to the fresh air and recreation of the surrounding nature – and it still does today. Along the way, you will hear about Trondheim's history as the tram travels from the city centre with views of the Nidelva River, through neighbourhoods lined with colourful wooden houses, and up to Bymarka, 297 metres above sea level.

After the tram ride, we continue by bus through the city centre. We stop at a viewpoint with panoramic views of Trondheim before continuing to a photo stop outside Nidaros Cathedral, Norway's national shrine and one of Northern Europe's largest cathedrals. The west façade is adorned with 76 stone statues and the impressive Rose Window – a stained-glass window measuring eight metres in diameter.
