Autumn Month by Month
September
Coastal range: 7° to 13°C
Hillsides flare red and gold and the air turns crisp and clear. On the northbound route in September and October we sail into the Hjørundfjord, where steep Sunnmøre peaks rise straight from quiet water.
October
Coastal range: 1° to 9°C
Days are bright and cool and nights grow properly dark again. We continue to visit the Hjørundfjord on the northbound route, and aurora season begins under our Northern Lights Promise.
November
Coastal range: −4°to 6°C
Frost begins to edge the quays and the light turns dramatic over the fjords. It is a peaceful time with good chances of Northern Lights as the peak viewing season is well en route.
